CenturyLink Mobile Site

CenturyLink Mobile Bill Pay - the first mobile website for CenturyLink needed to allow users to pay their bills online. The site also allowed shopping for new service, comparision of plans and access to customer support.

PROBLEM: Customers did not have a way to pay their bill on a mobile device and a simple, intuitive flow was needed.
 

PROCESS:

  • Worked with the design, product and development team to understand the customer persona(s) the design would focus on, defined the primary goals of the bill pay flow.

  • Ideated and created a simplified workflow with a mobile first methodology, providing wireframes and working as the lead designer to create high fidelity mockups.

  • Created a high fidelity prototype, optimized for mobile, to test with users.

  • Conducted user interviews utilizing the prototype to gather feedback and validate the design solution.


OUTCOME:

Customers began using the mobile site to pay their bills, this also increased overall mobile site usage, resulting in a 37% increase in revenue via the mobile channel.
