Smart Markup
Smart Markup is a tool that allows agents to add a markup to fares distributed by the airline. Agencies need a way to add their cost to the overall fare, thereby making a profit from the sale.
PROBLEM: The product needed to be rebranded and had a very long list of usability issues.
PROCESS:

Identified major usability issues by analyzing usability heuristics as well as conducting interviews with internal stakeholders and customers.

Worked with product owners and development team to create a design strategy and clear product requirements.

Translated requirements into improved workflows and simplified complex data entry points.

Ensured all designs utilized and conformed to Atlas design system for an improved user experience.

Provided detailed interaction and UI specifications

Created high fidelity prototype to demonstrate improved interaction designs.
OUTCOME: Customer feedback on the new design improvements was very positive. Developers were able to quickly build the first version of the new application.
